It is not mandatory to replace Type AC RCD that were installed, tested and certified before May 1, 2023. We provide a safety switch compliance (QLD) certificate after each new upgrade installation to prove your property meets all Australian safety switch standards.

Maintenance and Replacement

How often should you be testing Safety Switches?

The Queensland Government recommends testing safety switches every three months. Regular testing checks they are in good working order and can protect against electric shocks.
